Benchmarked against the only mixer on the market

No Liquitex mixer exists today. The benchmark is this engine against the only manufacturer tool on the market — Golden’s MXR — on Golden’s own catalog. Same engine, your catalog, is this page.

Golden MXR

  • 1 · Light Bismuth Yellow
  • 6 · Transparent Yellow Iron Oxide
  • 12 · N3 Neutral Gray
  • 14 · Bismuth Vanadate Yellow
ΔE 8.15 — flagged “Result off target” by its own UI

Same test, restricted to Golden's own 74-tube catalog
  • 67% · Neutral Gray N5
  • 19% · Cadmium Yellow Light
  • 14% · Raw Sienna
ΔE 0.91 — at the threshold of what an eye can see

Methodology, honestly: both figures are each model's own predicted CIE Lab distance for its recipe, not a spectrophotometer reading of dried paint. A ΔE near 1 is barely perceptible; a ΔE of 8 is a visibly different color. Four-tube ratios like 1 : 6 : 12 : 14 are also hard to measure on a palette; this engine prefers fewer tubes in round parts.

This page wears our look. Yours would wear Liquitex's.

Everything visual on this page — name, palette, typefaces — is a token, and the engine already speaks your catalog: every recipe above came from Liquitex · acrylic · 67 tubes, nothing else. A branded version is a config block and an afternoon, not a project.
